KADRI IS A NATURAL
Nazem Kadri scored the final three goals in Toronto’s 4-0 win at Ottawa on March 30. It was the third “natural” hat trick in the NHL this season (Kyle Palmieri - ANA, Jeff Carter - LAK) and the first by a Toronto player since Dec. 6, 2007, when Nik Antropov scored three consecutive goals in a game against the Rangers. Kadri had another hat trick earlier this season against the Islanders on February 28. The last Leaf to register a pair of hat tricks in one season was Alex Mogilny in 2002-03, and Wendel Clark was the last to have two on the road in one season in 1993-94.
